  • Modal verbs and adverbs of possibility
  • Relative clauses and relative pronouns
  • Parenthesis with brackets, dashes and commas
  • Commas to avoid ambiguity
  • Adverbials of time, place and frequency
  • Cohesion – linking sentences together

Who it's for

Year 5 children (age 9–10), and Year 6 children starting SATs revision.

How to use it

Allow about 10–15 minutes per test. Mark using the final page and re-teach anything missed.
