Four complete arithmetic papers set out exactly like KS2 SATs Paper 1 – three questions per page, one mark each, with space for working. They mix mental calculations with formal written methods and gradually get harder through each paper.

What it covers

  • Mental and written addition and subtraction, including large numbers
  • Multiplication (including 11 × 11 and 3-digit × 1-digit) and division
  • Multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100, including decimals
  • Adding decimals
  • Adding and subtracting fractions; finding fractions of amounts

Who it's for

Year 5 children (age 9–10) and Year 6 children starting SATs arithmetic practice.

How to use it

Do one paper per week under timed conditions (around 30 minutes). Track the score to see progress. No answer key is included.
