Year 3 Spring & Autumn English Activity Booklets

Year 3EnglishActivity booklet24 pages

Two matching English activity booklets – one for spring, one for autumn. Each starts with planning a short non-fiction text (a leaflet or poster) and then works through the key Year 3 grammar skills, finishing with an extract from a classic children's book and comprehension questions.

What it covers

  • Planning and writing a non-fiction text
  • Four sentence types: statement, command, question, exclamation
  • Prepositions to describe a scene
  • Homophones – correcting a 'Farmer Eric' diary full of mistakes
  • Reading classic fiction: The Wind in the Willows (spring) and A.A. Milne (autumn)

Who it's for

Year 3 children (age 7–8). Also good revision for early Year 4.

How to use it

Use the spring booklet over Easter and the autumn booklet over October half-term.
