Top Up Tuition: English and Maths for Reception to Year 6
Top Up Tuition is Harringtons' Sunday tutoring class for primary school children from Reception to Year 6. It's a two-hour, teacher-led group session in English and maths. Children work in small groups organised by key stage, and the class is heavily subsidised at £5 an hour.

What does Top Up Tuition cover?
Each session tops up the English and maths your child learns at school, across the whole primary curriculum: Reception (Early Years), Key Stage 1 (Years 1–2) and Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6). Children are grouped by key stage, so a Reception child working on early reading and number isn't taught alongside a Year 6 pupil.
How much does Top Up Tuition cost?
Top Up Tuition costs £5 per hour, which is £10 for each two-hour Sunday session. Places are booked in blocks of four weeks with an advance payment of £40. Paying for the block up front lets the teacher plan lessons ahead and makes sure your child keeps their place each week. The price is heavily subsidised so more families can afford extra learning in English and maths.

Qualified teachers lead every session. Small groups mean each child gets time to ask questions, practise and build confidence.
